103rd Annual Men’s Lincoln Highway Golf Tournament
July 19-20, 2025

Hosted by Sunset Golf Club, Mt. Morris, IL

The Lincoln Highway Tournament started in 1923…

And continues to this day. Currently, 11 courses along the historic Lincoln Highway in Northern Illinois taking part in the annual event. This best-against-bogey tournament is the longest continuously held amateur tournament of its kind in the United States.

Team format golf

Each golf club brings a 6 member team to face off at a rotating list of courses in the 3rd week of July each year. Consecutive days of 27 holes test the bodies and minds of each participant. Each teams golfers are put in to their respective flights, 1-6, with winners named for each flight at the conclusion of the tournament. In any given year, this tournament features many of the best amateur golfers in Northwest Illinois, all at play, at once.
